Well let's see the pics already!  Goat - hope you and the boys had a blast!  Sounds like it.  BTW - I think we are all set to go for next Sat - Don is sending the stuff...

Also, I spent the day (and night) working on rebuilding my lights.  I got the passenger side done, and I have to say it is 10 million times better.  No more cracked lenses, yellowed epoxy or off kilter halos.  It came out beautifully, until I screwed up one of my halos on the driver's side.  Doh!

Awesome, I went last year wise been there I could have been there yesterday! D Mac's win puts the Kappas 1-2 in the standings with Tuerck sliding down one to second! Maybe other drivers will catch on to the Kappa being a great car and we'll get to see a Sol coupe next year!!
Keep Chopping!!!

Here are my pics of the Pits.
The wife with the drivers and me with some of the girls
Formula Drift Pit Gallery

The angles on the shots are weird so I could get as much of the cars without people in the way.

The action was even better.
I can't wait to rewatch DMac shadowing his final 2 opponents.
The entire stands were on their feet for the final runs and erupted after the way he drove.

Vaughn Gitten Jr. was totally in the groove all day.  After yesterday, I have completely changed my view on the new mustang.
While I don't necessarily like the body, but I don't dislike it either,
That car is the real deal.  I can't believe how well it handles and how much power it has.

I am home, and beat. Stopped to see Dee's new Coupe on the way home, that car is SWEET. Anyway I have 4000, yes I said 4000 shots to go through but I will get them posted this week. Along with lots of updates from folks including Rhys and Ryan. The old RMR Solstice is still alive and well and was in a recent TV show with non other than Jesse James at the wheel. This was NOTHING like E-town last year all the drivers have steeped up there game, totally new points system balances out the the qualifying. New judging is much more fair, the "Half time" show was the most impressive thing I have ever seen done with a car, I was dumb struck it was so intense. My son and I were at times 15 or less from cars going by in full drift. This was the most intense event in drift I have ever been to, it was a battle to the end. DMac absolutely stole the day, he just showed everyone a new level of intensity. I think Las Vegas is going to be INSANE, it was obvious the guys were having fun again!

Where are those pics!!!!

So Tonight, the wife and I watched the DVD the Crazy Swede was giving away.
It was really cool

Just realized that the Hot Blond with the Mopar gear and Motorola Headset is his wife.
She was behind us in the stands watching his run and I gave her the update for his "One more Time"

If you guys didn't get the DVD, Make sure to look for one in Las Vegas.
I'll play it for you guys in my Sky at the Mod meet.

I met Samuel and his wife last year, never got to talk with him at Wall, I started looking through the pics last night. I have to thin them out and sort them but I'll get them up.
