On that other thread there seemed to be some back and forth on whcih ones were the right PN#s.  So Bob, for a Sky RL, would you need all the parts on that list?  On that other thread you also mentioned keeping the FE3 front while upgrading the the rear to Z0K - that still hold true for street driving?

The Redline would be forced into B/SP while the GXP can stay in Stock if ALL of the Z0K parts are installed (except the front bar as that can be changed in Stock class). At a local level the 2.0 Kappas can be very competitive IF the Evos stay home!! Unless at the SCCA Solo Nats a 2.0 is a) PERFECTLY prepared and set up, b) it's dry, and c) the driver is REALLY good and makes NO mistakes, there is SOME chance of getting into the trophies, but I can't see anyone WINNING B/SP in a rear drive car.

Another quick question...I have noticed that some of the GM Sway bar packages come with links while others, like the ZOK/GXP, do seem to list them.  Can I reuse my stock FE2 links when upgrading the sway bars? I have been looking at the various packages offered by Crate Engine Depot on-line.

Any comments or advice will be appreciated...as I start planning for winter projects.

Just reuse the existing links. They are fine.

HA !!!!!!!!! Tell that to Alex Jones. As well as he did, he trophied in fourth with 3 Evos ahead of him and 3 directly behind him. Your local Evo SP pilots are weak!!!!!

IMO, the AWD computer-driven cars should NOT be in the same class as any RWD or FWD cars.

Heck, if it was up to me I'd have cars only running against cars with the same drive layout. The way each layout handles and performs is so different from one another that I think it would be more fair to make them perform against similar cars. I know I've seen a course that was pretty drastically favoring the FWD cars. Instead of them cleaning up the RWD/AWD cars, FWD would be running against FWD, RWD against RWD, etc.

I don't think engine layout would matter as much...

I just did a check on both GM Parts Direct and GM Parts Department. Total with shipping (to me in MD) they both come within a couple of dollars of each other.  However, the breakdown is quite different...

GM Parts Direct, parts=$241.53, S/H=$50.73
GM Parts Department, parts=$267.06, S/H=$26.71

Hmmm.
