That picture is very enlightening the stock bushing and the one from Energy Suspension is thicker on the bottom, doesn't mean they won't work just fine just not what I expected. This is all sort of a crap shoot trying to find a product that technically doesn't exist in the aftermarket, at least the brackets are included. If mine get here this week maybe I will bundle up and play with them this weekend.

On the bright side, even if they don't work at least we'll know and others considering a bar swap.

Sorry to resurrect this hoary (and long) old thread, but I just ordered the Z0K rear sway bar for my GXP and am about to get bushings for both the rear and the front (as a precautionary measure).  I wanted clarification on what the correct greaseable bushings are.  Seems there was confusion in the last few posts about the energy suspension bushings and ex-Goat did not close the circle on his findings.  I'm also confused about the Style A or B mounting, and what the correct part number is for the 27mm rear bushings.

Anyone?

I have run the OEM and poly sway bushings in the rear. No discernible difference. Save your money.

The main confusion was on the front bushings.  Energy may or may not make something that works with the z0K front sway bar.

I only replaced the rear bar:

Correct part number for greasable bushing to fit the GXP Z0K Rear bar is:

9.5162R (Red)  1-1/6" (27mm) greasable

Here is the link to Jegs.  This is confirmed for the Rear
Energy Suspension Sway Bar bushings from Jegs

The problem is the front uses a 34 mm bushing.  Energy suspension makes 33 and 35mm bushings, but NOT a 34 mm one.  Not sure if Goat ever got one correct for the front.

Biggest benefit for the $15 upgrade is the ability to grease the bushings to get rid of the squeak.  Depends if you want to take them off every year, or just hit it with the grease gun 1x a year.

Bottom line is that I HAVE to get new rear bushings to fit the bigger rear bar.  So for the difference between the larger GM rubber bushings ($11/pair) and the ES zerk/poly ones ($16) I may as well go with the greasables.  Then I can get the fronts at the same time and save on both shipping and squeak!

The main confusion was on the front bushings.  Energy may or may not make something that works with the z0K front sway bar.

The problem is the front uses a 34 mm bushing.  Energy suspension makes 33 and 35mm bushings, but NOT a 34 mm one.  Not sure if Goat ever got one correct for the front.
The front is actually 1 5/16" diameter, which works out as 33.2mm (confirmed by both my measurement, and Bob's).  Goat was getting the 34mm's ES greasable bushings for the Mustang (Jegs 4-5193R), but never stated whether they actually worked.

I only replaced the rear bar: Correct part number for greasable bushing to fit the GXP Z0K Rear bar is:
9.5162R (Red)  1-1/6" (27mm) greasable

This is confirmed for the Rear
THANK you, sir!  One problem solved, one more (fronts) to go :)

When I bought the front and rear Z0K sway bars for my GXP, I also bought the front and rear Z0K bushings with then.  When I installed them I did not grease any of the bushings.  I did not know about greasing the new bushings, but I installed them last year and there is no squeak...at least not yet.

OK. This post is just to 'close the loop' on the greasable bushings for those of who wish to do this in future. Just as a note, I got mine from Summitracing.com because I had a store credit there, but the prices were just about the same as Jegs.

Bushings for Rear Z0K swaybar (1 1/16"):

As others have said the Energy Suspension 9.5162R (Red) or 9.5162G (Black) are the correct-sized greasable bushings for the rear Z0K bar.  These also have radial and crossed grooves inside to (presumably) retain the grease around the bar.

Bushings for Front 1 5/16" swaybar:

This was where it got a little more difficult. I first went for the 34mm Mustang bushings per the posts in this thread - Energy Suspension 4.5193R.  But despite the picture showing these with Zerk brackets, they are actually just the plastic bushings ONLY.  They do however have the grease-retaining grooves inside and looked like they might fit in the OEM brackets (though I did NOT verify that).  They certainly fit around the front sway bar perfectly, and are actually marked as 1 5/16" (not 34mm per the Ad). I called Summit up and complained about the missing brackets.  They looked up the correct bushings WITH brackets and sent them out (paying for shipping both ways, having UPS do a pick-up of the wrong ones), though they did point out that the small type in the Ad stated that they were bushings-only :)  Note: they tried to look up the Solstice but had completely wrong sizes in their database.  So I insisted on the size I wanted and they sent those ones.

The replacements are the Energy Suspension 9.5167R (Red) or 9.5167G (Black).  These do fit the front sways and do come with the Zerk-greasable brackets.  They do not, however, have the grooves inside to retain grease. This is probably because they have very thin walls  - the brackets are exactly the same as the 27mm bushings above, consequently the plastic is thinner to fit around the larger bar.
UPDATE: Per goat's post below, a warning for these latter 9.5167 busings & brackets: "I have a set of the fronts you listed, I tried them and took them off. the thinner bushing creates just a little pre-load on the front bar, this is not something you want unless you are an expert (not me)."

Hope this helps someone...

Added by request, links to these at SummitRacing (Jegs.com is just as good I'm sure)... These are the red ones:

I have a set of the fronts you listed, I tried them and took them off. the thinner bushing creates just a little pre-load on the front bar, this is not something you want unless you are an expert (not me). I used the Mustang bushings with the factory brackets, been on there over a year. I suppose I need to pull them and lube them again before it gets cold. I have a set of the thinner ones still in the package too, never opened. I have tried both Energy Suspension and Prothane brands, neither makes a replacement that is the same as stock but with the Zerk fitting and polyurethane of course. The Z0K front bushings are the same as stock, the rears are slightly larger both are rubber.

Thanks Jim.  NOW you tell me!   :gaah:

I'd hoped you might respond to my questions back on the 12th.  Oh well, back to the drawing board  :D  At least I have the rears and bar.  My fronts aren't squeaking yet, so I can do them later.

If you said what use you were putting the car to, I forgot.  I'd do the rear only for slalom, but both bars for street.
