Not hard at all, loosen the clamps to the intercooler (considering the other clamps and supporting hardware is removed) and I used a flat tip screw driver and shoved it in between the pipe and the rubber seal to separate them.  Once the rubber has been broken loose of the bond-so-to-speak, you can easily remove them with a wiggle side to side motion while lifting.
