Humm...I am in the market for some rims. But, I am looking/trying to find a set of Monarch rims. But they are impossible to find in 18x8's. So I can be swayed.

Do you have pictures of the rims on your car?

Could always powder coat if you want them bad enough. About 40$ per wheel or less to powdercoat in black.

Yeah just go to a yellow pages / google maps / yahoo local listings and type in powder coat or some type of keyword like that. Then call around some places. I know here in SoCal it varies anywhere from like 40-100$ per wheel just depends where you buy it. And I am sure you can talk Gravana into giving you a discount or something since you would have to buy silver finish wheels.

Yup. Looks a little funny because this picture is with 30 series Hoosiers instead of stock tire, so the wheel wells look a bit empty.

Pretty tempting, do you think 1/4 or 1/8 times may improve going from stock rims to these since they are lighter?

Theoretically, yes. Stock wheels are about 26 pounds, and the OZs are 18 pounds each. That is a weight reduction nearly 40 pounds. More importantly, the rotating mass is reduced a good bit. One way to find out for sure ----- BUY 'EM!! (disclaimer; no guarantees expressed or implied!!

) One thing for sure, you'll look good doing it !

The wheels will not effect how your cars wheel wells look as your tires will be the same. That said, the OZs have about a 1/4" difference in offset so the front and rear tracks will be about a 1/2" wider.
