Not sure how Ben did his door handles, but I simply loaded the JB Weld into the cavities AROUND the lug wells and webbing in an effort to support the plastic wells so they can not expand. Certainly, not matter what is done once the lugs have started to move AT ALL in the plastic wells they are pressed into they are going to work looser and looser and then pull out. Can you just imagine the failure rate a police department would experience if their fleet had door handles like these? GM vehicles, in general, are fundamentally as good as most any car sold in the US. It's crap such as this that plagues GM cars which, as much as anything else, has been why GM has lost SO much market share. All that said, the Redline IS a fun car.
