new Here / Looking fora Club in Phoenix AZ
« on: July 05, 2009, 03:41:17 PM »
Hi all,

I'm new to this board, I have been looking all over for the most informative boards to keep up with. I am also looking for a club in the Phoenix Arizona area, there is one club already here but they look like more of a social club then a performance car club?

Any suggestions would be helpful...

Thanks!

Welcome

Check out the members map it may help you find people in your area that would like to get together.  While your at it pin your location in your profile so that others know that you are in the Phoenix area.

Just a reminder for others that have not pinned their location this is exactly the reason to do so.  So if you haven't yet pinned your location take the opportunity and do so now.

Thank you, I'll do that..

I did some searching last night and the only club near me is this Phoenix Sky & Solstice Club... They are very active but it looks like they are not so much into the performance mods....

I found a web site called GMRoadster.com that appears to be more of a National Club, I spent some time looking over that site. They had a few good articles, especially on Tuning my '07 GXP.

Thank you!

Why don't we have an emoticon for Fishing, perhaps a big trawler would be good?

Welcome phoenixgxp, glad to have another Arizona Kappa owner join from the great state of Arizona.  You are most fortunate to reside in the great State of Arizona.  I look forward to maybe meeting you sometime down the line  One of these days we will return to your state and do some more snooping.  I have always wanted to go back to see how much it has grown, and how different it might be.  Hope you enjoy yourself on this forum.  Lots of friendly people hang out here with a common interest in the Kappa's!  Hope to see you down the road.  Thanks for joining up!

I think there is a club local to you that sounds perfect, American Solstice Sky you sound like a A.S.S kind of guy.
