Dejon Engine Cover
« on: July 09, 2009, 08:21:14 AM »
Alrighty...I tried to post this last night, but got an error...hope this wont be a double post... :idiot:

I meet Dave Johnson at Nationals (Dejon Powersports). He was having a custom brake light cover installed on his Red GXP by Tony Williams. The hood of his car was up....so I took a look and observed a :censor: 'n looking engine cover . I asked Dave if he had brought any with him and sure enough, he had...them vendors are soooo smart. Bought one on the spot. LOL....Thanks Dave.  :yay:

The cover came with some studs and acorn nuts for the install. I did put it together using his hardware...but it really didnt match my theme of blue cup washers...so I contacted a buddy of mine who works at a local machine shop and had him make me 4 2.5 inch aluminum spacers so I could use some stainless allen head bolts.

So without further adue.....some before and after photos.

This looks very cool and well done.  Can be powdercoated as well for a few bucks more.  It is on thier site under the appearance link.

I asked on the LNF site a few days ago with no response if this will fit under the DDM shock tower brace.  It appears to be thinner and lower than the stock shield.  See if DDM or Dejon see it here.

07 Deep GXP auto.  A lot of cosmetic upgrades but not enough performace mods. YET.
