This has been a topic on my mind for a while. I also have a 2-3 hour daily commute (I feel your pain jonymac).

I've considered quieting my sky and had gone through most of the info on your site a while back.
Weight & Cost were the things that I was most concerned about the project.
I'll be interested in seeing what you come up with for kit(s).
The possibility of two levels of kit was mentioned on the other thread - I think that would be a great idea that would expand your potential market.
I look forward to hearing more (err, less?!?? :rofl:)
