Hi all!
nice to find you all kappa enthusiasts here. Kelu introduced me to this forum and i thank him for all the info he has been giving me the last few days.
I have a 07 Opel GT 2.0L and i live in Athens Greece.
My mods so far are the cool black headlights of the Sky RL (thx SkySpy), H&R lowering springs, ddmworks Backbone race, ddmworks probeam and 345mm diameter front discs from Opel Vectra OPC with ferodo pads.

it feels good to be able to exchange info and tips with all ya guys!

Arabas, welcome to the forum. It's great to see other people with Opel GTs joining. There are two ways to upload pics to the forum. As a supporting member or in the Gallery. You can also use a photo hosting site such as Photobucket.com and then paste the [img] code here.

I don't normally bring back a quote from a new member but this forum until now has never had a member from Athens, Greece who owns an '07 Opel GT 2.0L that is modded to the hilts and since one of my sons took his bride to be, to Italy to propose to her and Italy is close to Athens Greece I decided that I had reason to break one of my rules. Thank you for accepting the invitation from Kelu and joining this forum. We are most pleased to have you hear as a member. We all look forward to your posts and remarks in the future. your son really knows what he s doing! Italy has very beautiful and picturesque cities and proposing in Italy, is a very romantic thing to do, an unforgetable moment as well!
i ve been in the States three times in the past 15 yrs and i must tell you guys, you have a great country and i ve met quite a lot nice people over there. i actually have relatives living near by Chicago area and California too.

I was on Crete and in the Athens area a couple of years ago.. beautiful country.. the countryside is full of twisties to enjoy in your Opel or any sportscar for that matter... Welcome aboard

baconbits, hope you liked Greece and that u had a good time here! u got that right with the twisties... it s fun to drive in Greece but it can also be an adventure because a lot of them are not well constructed..

I was in Athens for 3 months back in the 70's while in the military. Have great memories of my time there. Welcome aboard.

Hey Critterman, you know this place long before i was born, so you know it better!! lol! those were difficult times for Greece, i suppose u already know that, because of the dictatorship and the incident with Cyprus...but let s not go to politics.. better let us enjoy our cars

Also Arabas you have pictures with the car before and after H&R springs? The guys are saying the H&R ones will lower the car most of all springs.
How much they were and from where?

That tarmac seem to be, almost slick as ice. A lot of wheel spin & sliding, but no smoke.

Great video's Arabas! Nice job around the cones. Really enjoyed your beautiful and scenic mountains in your videos. The drifting was first class. I have never seen such touch in the gliding around the cones, looked like you were doing it in slow motion. Well done indeed! As Joe said in a prior post on this topic, I as well hope you can talk your buddies into joining the forum. It is a fun place.
