Whose turbo kit? The Hahn kit usually breaks within a matter of weeks. Get a Super Charger from DDM, you will be much happier.

There isn't one as far as I know.  Normally your engine or rear axle will due to metal on metal meshing.

Guys you got me confused!!!

"Break in" means initial period of usage, right? Like for a new engine, or a new tranny.

lil goat said something which sounds like will not last longer than few weeks. Then DeepBlueGXP said something which I share, not break in period for turbos.

And I thought I know english :)

He is referring to an add on turbo for the 2.4 motor, not the stock turbo on a GXP. I was commenting on the numerous issue's most have had with the Hahn turbo kit. I am not sure who else makes a turbo kit for the 2.4. I think maybe Werks does but not sure. I know of one Hahn turbo that works very well, after DDM fixed it.

I'm not sure WHAT he's referring to. I've seen his post both here and the BB, and I'm not entirely sure... Heck, he could be talking about the "Turbo upgrade kit" (which the dealer I bought from kept referring to as "the turbo" when they were saying they couldn't find one)

I'm a liitle surprised at the Hahn bashing heard here..... I've been running mine now for three years, sure I've had a learning curve but the Hahn kit wasn't the problem. Give advise but leave the undertones on the side. LatinVenom is correct RPI, Werks and Hahn all sell good kits and have good service.

Glad you are happy with the Hahn, you are one of the few. Check the boards and read the horror stories. He has had one of his kits catch fire 3 times. He has a reputation for getting stuff to market fast and letting his customers do the testing. I know of several people who bought the kits and could not reliably drive the cars. The Hahn kit is the worst out there, it is an older turbo and old technology, anyone would be better off with an RPI or a Werks. When someone has to ship there car from Texas to South Carolina to a different vendor and spend 1000's to get the turbo fixed so the car was drivable, that to me says there is a problem. You could not give me anything Hahn makes! There is that clear enough.

You can take your attitude and your Hahn turbo back to the big board, were you a hall monitor in school? Why should I respect anything you say you bought the piece of crap, tells me something about you. Do some reading about that great turbo you have, you will find very few happy customers. Read some of the reports of endless phone calls trying to get support, and tails of tech support no longer taking peoples calls. I have. Want to understand what quality and customer support should be call Dave or Randy at DDM works. I have spoken with Bill Hahn and he knows exactly how I feel about him and his over priced under engineered products. Like U-238 said this ain't the big board and he is not a supporting vendor I can say whatever the hell I want.

Wow, MY attitude lil goat.... I was just offering my advice but NOT disrepecting you or anyone here. I have always viewed your opinion with respect dude..... your opinion is highly regarded on all boards..... not sure why you would be attacking me like this man. Sorry you feel that way.

I absolutely love my DDM set up, but I don't go around bashing somebody else's setup I haven't tried.

PS: I still think my DH mount is the best I've seen :D
