It was a badly placed round that caused the defilement of my car in the first place. Whom ever placed that round in GJ's hand is responsible.

Not it!

Can't Really Identify The True Enamel Replacer

Don't Bother Guessing

Besides, Def is a doctor, he wouldn't know which end of the gun to hold.  He could scalpel me though.

As for firearms, I've been known to outshoot Navy SEALs and Army Rangers with their own weapons. True story, no BS!

Is that after you operate on them?

All kidding aside, I was only trying to rid your car of rust. The metal piece I painted was actually very rusty and looked terrible.  Funny how something so simple has morphed in to a life of its own.

Glad you didn't punch me when I met you in person.

My OCI is 15k or once a year, whichever comes 1st. The oil filter gets changed at 50% on the OLM, which is about 5k. In short my yearly OCI  for 15k is 5qt. of Amsoil 0w-30 Signature Series Oil (SSO) & 3 WIX Gold oil filters. Because Amsoil don't make a Ea oil filter.

Update, just check Amsoil web site. The now make a Ea oil filter for the 2.0L & 2.4L motor. Part# Ea15k03.

I just finished doing my first oil change. Thanks to a lot of posts on this forum, it went very smooth. I've been working on cars for over 30 years and this is by far the easiest oil change I've ever done.

I wrote a detailed set of instructions compiling information from various sources. Hopefully this will give you everything you need to do your own oil chages; including how to reset the oil-life display on the car. The instructions can be found here:

Fixed!

Finally saw it.  It's a great write up.  One difference I do is to jack the opposite side of the car, that way it drains better.  Stops the pooling effect you mention.
