Poly Differential Bushing upgrade

I am thinking about installing the poly bushing on the front brace of the differential. I am wondering if anyone here has installed it and what the results were. I know the clunk is a product of the diff design. BUT when I do experience the clunk, i sometimes, get a vague feeling that i can feel the diff moving back into its rest position and sometimes more so when i am shifting during wot runs....kinda rubbery feeling, real hard to explain as it is very subtle. especially after i installed a tune shortly after i bought the car. Could be the more torque from a tune makes it more pronounced..... Its a cheap and apparently easy mod to do. I just don't want to go through the process if it is really for nothing. I have read the post on one of the BB of someone that installed it, but there isn't alot out there to read up on. Could it make the drivetrain response feel firmer?? I assume vibration would increase too.  Anyone here have it done, or have thoughts on it?

If the production date of your Redline is after July 2006 you probably have the torque arm that joins the diff to the transmission. If so, the diff bushing is not needed not can it even be fitted.

my car was ordered 1/07 and delivered 5/5/07. it has the updated(second version) mount and has the bushing. Just like the one that is on ddm's site link to the forum thread. there isn't a torque arm connecting it to the trans.

Nope. In late summer 2006 the torque arm was a production running change. My Redline is a 2007 that was built in August 2006. It has the torque arm, and all LNFs after late July 2006 were so equipped.
