« on: September 08, 2009, 03:34:15 PM »
Right now Ivy is building the pages for several new products we are releasing this week, and we are finally showing some love to our 2.0L LNF family :)

Just a couple tease shots till we make the formal announcements, and as usual you only get to see these first on Kappaperformance

No, that's not the true CAI that has been mentioned before.  The Mach II setup is.

STOP IT! I had to sell my left kidney for the stuff at the last mod meet, I only have one left! I think I will have to settle for a gauge pod this time around and some temp cheap gauges until I can afford the good ones.

One word: Autometer. Quality and low prices

I paid less than $150 for my gauges, and I went with the fancy yellow/black CF ones.

I dont even want gauges. why buy them? id much rather have some other goodies like brake package stuff, DDMs Stage 3.5 (that's what i call stage DDMs stage 2.5 [reworked cams] and stage 3 combined), clutch, custom front fascia and side fenders, fuel rail, etc...
Yeah i know what you mean about selling your kidney. I cant keep buying all these toys if im ever gonna furnish my house and landscape it.

I am going way cheaper than that, maybe $50 for 2. Just temporary until I can afford the Aeroforce from DDM

about $400 for dual gauges.

If I wasn't so anal about having a real, analog, boost gauge I'd have gone with those as well. I really like those Aeroforce gauges, once the car is closer to being done I may find another way to get them in the car.

Looking closer at this design, there is a box around the from the left and up towards the engine.  Perhaps meets with the hood to prevent heat soak from the engine and help contain the ram air that comes in through the bumper.  hmmm.  This is looking promicing.

Dave,
Will the box work with the GMPP CAI that I got from Spiky?

The only CAI pics I know of are the ones I put up on Solsticeforum.com  :D
As I understand from the Doc, the CAI remains under prototype and not ready for prime time  :ro:

You'll like the aeroforce guages.  A little pricey, but they sure are fun to play with.  They are handy to have if you ever throw a code.

You hit it pretty close. There is the option also to do some minor cutting and bring in air directly at the filter from the nose of the car also if you would like to. The box does not work with the GMPP intake, although we could make one to do the same thing.

We have done vertical doors at previous meets.  Lots of experience, I have done at least 8 installs.
