So the final dyno sheet looks like it shows about 25psi is where the tune for your car does the best as far as peak#'s instead of 26psi correct?

So it appears the auto is affecting the hp reading on the dyno?

So how much of an increase were the #'s over the baseline runs?

Watched most of it live in the background yesterday....

Baseline #'s with GMPP tune, GMPP CAI, Magnaflow exhaust:
213.4(HP) @ 7300 RPM 185.5(Torque) @ 6000 RPM A/F 13.0 A/I 17.2 psi
243.8(HP) @ 4600 RPM 318.7(Torque) @ 3950 RPM A/F 12.1 A/I 24.6 psi
Final #'s
The auto is hard to dyno as it wants to drop back to 3rd at WOT. The sweet spot to prevent this was approx. 3500 RPM @ 85-90 MPH in 4th. Attempted this in Drive and in "I" but was more predictable in 4th at this RPM and speed.
Did have higher #s but also knock and too lean.
This seems to be a good spot for now.

133 ft lb increase?  Are you kidding me??
And WAY lower in the power band.

What does it drive like?  Have you melted your tires off already?

A dyno showing 213hp as base GMPP and 243hp after the tune for me is great difference  . I presume those are wheel horses and not corrected numbers at flywheel.  :bdh:

I don't understand that dyno plot at all  , why are pink spots there

Those are really high rpm #s in the stock measurement. Accurate?

The huge torque difference is weird too. ???

That's kind of why I would like to see a standard way we need to have the dyno pulls done so we can have accurate data to build upon so we can make it as equal as can be.
Kinda like my other vehicle has a 4 speed auto with OD and I have to tell the dyno operator to turn off OD and run it in Drive up to about 3100 RPM and then go WOT so it stays in 3rd the drive gear and will run in that gear till 5900 RPM.  Anything lower than 3100 RPM and it will down shift to 2nd gear and throw off the #'s and the graph.

Sorry if this is a newbie quesiton, but what would a dyno run look like if you just punched it in drive and let it shift thru all the gears and run out to top speed (or close)?  Wouldn't that tell peak HP, peak TQ? and give real world numbers similar to SOTP test?

it was hard for him to get solid numbers because it kept down shifting
he did a great job and he did the best he could.
i am sure if we could lock it in 4th around 2500 and full throttle we would have better numbers
it was fun

Just ?'s
So is there a way to lock it in 4th so it doesn't downshift ?
Or is there a better gear to pick like "I" that will allow you to lock it in 4th a little better?
Just trying to understand better so if I decide next year to do a dyno pull I can have as much info as possible for the operator and myself.
