We have received a good interest from new Kappa Performance members to get a new group buy going on the MRZ Performance billet engine bay covers ready for a new group buy. They are very unique and all of our customer just love them. The first and second group buy were a great success and I'm confident we can get a thrid group buy running for them.

To get a new group buy started we would need 10 people or sets to give 10% discount on them ($179.95), if we reach 20 sets, we give 15% ($169.95). The normal price is $199.95 on the set of 5 polished billet engine bay covers and they can be color anodized for $40 extra in red, blue, black and orange. So the more set we sell, the better the discount.

YOU CAN ORDER RIGHT AWAY at discounted price since we have see that there is a good amount of people ready to get them, this offer is good untill OCTOBER 15 2009 - dont delay we will ship what we have in stock as the order are placed, we'll have to produce more sets as the orders are placed and this will delay the shipping at a certain point.

Here they are:

http://mrzperformance.vstore.ca/product_info.php/cPath/83/products_id/153

Regular price is $199.95 USD for a set, we can give 10% off if we sell 10 sets, 15% off if we sell 20+ sets.   We are going at full discount right now! -15% $169.95

  • Windsheild Washer Fluid
  • Power Steering Fluid

The covers are all ready to install without having to drill anything to secure them to the existing caps. Just push them over your existing covers and they will snap securely in place, the install takes only a few minutes and they are CNC machined to fit snuggly in place.

The caps come standard in polished mirror finish but can be color anodized for $40 extra. Colors available are blue - black - red - orange. We can also add Carbon Fiber inserts to them for $25 extra.

Wow, that's great MRZ Performance!  On the first two Group Buy's we were not offered the top discount until 20 orders were confirmed.  Thanks for offering this up-front from the get-go!   I strongly recommend these sets to anyone who wants to add a great touch to the engine bay at a very reasonable price.  In the first two group buys, most opted for the color anodized that are pictured.  They are an additional $40.00 per set but well worth it.

Hey Mrz - Performance,
I just placed an order for the polished billet caps with the Mobile 1 on the oil. I'm in Ontario BTW, I didn't see anything about the billet gas cap. So if you have info or pictures of this I'll order that as well (depending on cost).

Thanks for the discount.

Removing Cap from Oil Cover?
« Reply #10 on: September 30, 2009, 02:00:29 PM »
Hi, I received my engine bay caps yesterday. REALLY nice quality. But unforuntately when I was pushing the oil filler cap into the aluminum cap/cover, I got it on a little crooked, everything snapped in place, but now it's a little crooked.

Is there a way to safely remove the stock cap from the alum cover without damaging either? I'd like to try seating it again.

Thanks.

The only good way to remove the cap is with 2-3 small screwdriver and good patience...  it's not easy to remove them but that can be done.

I started to buy the set but . . . realized that my windshield washer reservoir usees a "snap-on" type of cap vs. a screw on cap shown in the pics above ('08 Sky RL).  Can anyone verify for me that the MRZ billet caps will fit my style windshield reservoir CNC?

You remove the snap on cap completely and replace it with the aluminum one. Works fine.

BigSal, you are on by posting in this updated thread by Joe and Deepwater805 you are on as well.  BigSal, the Billet Gas Cap Cover is $60.00 and it is beautiful.  I ordered the Red to match my under hood set and selected the Pontiac symbol, and the symbol itself is awesome, measures 1 & 13/16ths inches!  It is the original that GM came out with, not some of the abbreviated ones.  The Billet Cover is 3 & 1/4 inches in diameter as it must fit over the original cover by GM.  I have decided to keep mine on my computer desk cause I can look at it every day.  My wife told me I would lose it if put on the gas filler.  Knowing me, yes, I would so it sits in my office and is magnificent, well worth the price!

BigSal, you can see by GordoSH-3 post above the beauty of the Red Billet Engine Bay Covers and the Gasoline Cover.  I have the Aggressive 2007 GXP, in GM's vocabulary [Victory Red] also called "Primary Red" and the red looks great with it.  It compliments, does not have the orange slant of the Victory Red, but is a very rich deep red metallic color that coordinates very nicely and I very much like the combination.  My Fuse Box Cover by Beach Party however actually has the orange color of the Victory Red.  All in all, I believe you will love the look.  I chose the Pontiac symbol to be on the top of my Billet Gas Cap and the  contrast is awesome!
