Is it really worth it?
« on: September 25, 2009, 04:33:56 PM »
I went to the store to get sum oil for my car and they range from 2.79 to 9.99. Now a days with with money being scarce lol, is there truthfull really any difference between the each brand? I know have different additves and what not but they all meet or exceed the minimum requirements so is it really truthfull any big difference between a 2.79 and a 4.99 bottle, cus all it really is difference is a name making the price different.

Stick with M1 and get it from Wallyworld.  That way when you have warranty work, they can't blame you for using the wrong oil

i agree saving a 20 spot on something like oil just dont seem right.  unless its like my old ford truck with a 390 that when i filled up at the station it took an oil change at every tank of fuel, back then i would put USED oil in as it leaked out about as fast as i put it IN  LOL

Sweet!!! Thanks Deep!

I'm going to share the new Icon with my grandpa...who by the way says the oil should always be changed bi-weekly, and vegetable oil is fine to use because he once saw this guy who was doing that, and his car got 1.2 billion miles on the original engine!!
