top leaking

I came out from work today and had a puddle in my shifter Boot .It had been raining all day .Has anybody else had this problem? I unhooked it and rite at the middle it was aLL WET. Could the catch have been loose .Top has not been down sense Beginning of OCT. at the MM6 at Joe's Garage .I will check in the morning

I know of someone who had problems with that because he used interior conditioner while wiping the inside of the car, decided it would look nice if he wiped all the seals.  big no-no.

The last time it was down was at your house.nothing was used on it .when I got in yesterday I undid the latch rubbed my fingers across the seal (thinking maybe leaves or something were in it ) relatched and no more wet spot or puddle. going to check it this morning as soon as it gets lite out.will let you know

Smear the seals with Vaseline, that will fix it, and don't use K-Y jelly!

Checked it this morning and it was dry Maybe I didn't have it latched tight or something was on the seal
