It really has been a crazy week. First Critter does work instead of supervising (at least photoshopped pics makes it appear that he does), then Kelu learns to drive his car and now GND & GJ actually agree!

I wonder which of those will happen again first... Vegas has odds.  Here they are:

GND and GJ agree: 7:1
Kelu learns how do drive his car "fast" : 15:2
Critter does work: 1,000,000,000,000 : 1

What did I do with the Kappa today???? DDM of course....kinda nice to know you have "The Best" even if it is just an oil change and tire rotation. The Hankooks have 15,000 miles and rotated 2x, great lack of wear on them, but then I had Dave align it,,,so it's perfect  ;). Have a new leak on the vent from the differential, which was replaced last fall. Dave said he will put a tube in and it should fix it. Bottomed out on the roller coaster Sisters run...scraping on the exhaust. New center console from DDM, this one is the tester...it was great driving to Texas...just a little extra height for the arm, phone stayed inside the hole even on the twisties..does not add any width just some height, nice to have your coffee/water right at your hand.

ChiliSky how come you already have it??? that's not fair!!!!! lol

after my big wheel experiment and swapping back to stock turbo, today it was the first day (since November) that i flashed it with my stock turbo tune and drove it.
with all these engines failing, i didn't push it a lot.
i guess it will take some time to feel comfortable with the extra power and trust the car over again

Yes, we do!

Had to clean some bird droppings off of all three of mine -- the Mercedes ML, the G5 Coupe, and the Solstice. But, if you don't let it sit, it just slides right off! :D

Drove the truck to Fairmont WV, to pick up a little bling for my car.  Got a tour of his show room and a new place for parts.  Joe we will talk later.

Chuck swears that it was because it is all uphill going to WV but I got 12 mpg,  I think it was more the speed I was running and the head winds.  I slowed down to around 70 coming back and got 17 with a tail wind, and acording to Chuck it is downhill. :)

Downhill on way back, more up hill than down going west.

Wade is da man!  I will post some pics later, just need to convince nancy to let me spend 30,000 to fix my car.  I told her I only had 4 cylinders and the other 4 are missing

No problem with that sir, make sure you don't forget to bring that V8 kappa when you move here.

But I suggest you to think about changing your profession if you want to move here, doctors and teachers are worse profession about income, I don't think you want to live from 300-500$ per month as a doctor and had to pay 7$/gal for that V8 kappa.

I'm still saving my 30k... I just did some free stuff (yesterday). I adjusted my top stops (for potential window rub), cleaned MAF, and now blinkin' like a mad fiend http://www.kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php/topic,363.msg3188.html#msg3188 .

I did notice my passenger side buttress stem inserts right against the forward edge of the hole in the lid (it's touching when closed)... I may need to investigate this further.  Also there looks to be some tape installed for minor wear on the passenger side, main top support. It looks like the support may make contact with the inside edge of the tulip flange when the top raises. Anyone have some wear on the metal support or tulip flange thingy? ..that's the official technical terms isn't it? :)

you ever heard a load set of buahings SA?  If you had you would never ever make a dumb statement like that.  Squeaky Bushings are like a wisper in comparison.
