Hi, I'm Crappa
« on: January 20, 2010, 03:11:57 PM »
Hi All,

I'm Crappa, a name given to me by my granddaughter when she was learning to talk. See couldn't quite get grandpa out. My wife says it fits me because I like to say crap when things aren't going as smooth as I would like. :idk:

I have a 2007 Sly N/A Solstice automatic I purchased used in Jan 2008 w/3K miles. Right now she is tucked away for the winter, so instead of driving around in a Solstice, I am reading about them. I like lurking around to see what everybody is doing with their Kappa's, getting ideas of what next to do on mine. So many great ideas out there.

Niiceeee, happens to have pictures with that legend?

No pics that survived. I owned it in the early seventies. It was silver with red interior. It had the 1.9L engine w/4 speed trans. It was a daily driver. Mods were an 8 track player w/bookshelf speakers in the back, and driving lights on either side of the front plate operated by an unused stock switch that was just forward and to the left of the shifter. I remember it could redline in 4th gear with ease, it was a fun car to  :drive:

Picked up on a quick sun visor mod already. Must be patient, can't wait to try it out on the sun.
