Is there any way to find a list of all topics started by one person?

Would be really helpful alternative to the general search.

Seach on posts by that user, you may even be able to isolate it to started by

Click on a users name on the left side of the screen and that will take you to the users profile. Scroll down to the bottom of the profile and you will see "Show the last posts of this person".

That will show you all the posts that user has made on KappaPerformance.

Yes I've seen that and "show own posts" but I am looking for all the THREADS that I, or another user started. Searching through the list of all posts is dreadful

You want just a list of the topics that a particular user started?

That might be a question that you could PM Joe about. I'm not sure how you would get that information.

Yeah, specifically my own. So I can easily find my own threads so I can update ya'll on the status of my projects.

The feature has now been added to the users profile. Click on a user and there is a link in their profile called

Show Topics Started.

When clicked, it shows the first post of each topic started by the user.

i.e. here is mine. http://kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4;sa=showPostsini

It was a feature developed for an earlier version of the forum software. I had to update it to make it compatible with the SMF 1.1.11

The software I installed has another way to view threads started by a member. Look at one of their posts, for example mine. You will see a series of icons on the bottom left of the post under the avatar.

The one that looks like this

Click that to view the threads started by the member.

I'm getting 500 internal server error when I try to use either the icon under my name or the link from the profile, i think the server switch broke this feature.

It appears to be only when clicking on the icon under your name. The icon under other profiles seem to work okay.

Joe, I think this feature got broken when you migrated to the new webhost. It gives an error now.
