Norms SKY fenders prototype for Solstice
« on: August 27, 2010, 12:15:34 PM »
Who would be interested in a fender for the Solstice similar to Norm's Sky prototype but fabricated to fit the Solstice.  This was started in another thread ("Normsfiberglass Sky fenders") but got lost.
*(The silver car is my quick rendering not Norms work, and just an idea)

Very nice, Kind of like the teaser pics in that DDM fenders thread before they actually made the ones they did.

I like them also.  How much, painted?

I like this, gives our coupes an exotic flare.  My problem is I like a lot of different sytles, would like to to a ZR1 insprired and a Ferrari GTO inspired look too, plus we have that back brace that stops too many styles.

Here's the one _I_ want.

I plan on repainting next summer and I really want these fenders.
I'd rather be driving! :D

That one is also very nice, it would be hard to pick one over the other.

Chemist you mean the ones that are on that pink Barbie Jeep in the background?  Couldn't you have gotten any better pictures without that red car in the way?  Looks like GJ has been visiting that garage.

Those are nice, but I think it is too ANGULAR for a Solstice.  On the edges themselves and even the inward slope.  And yours there really needs a honeycomb screen on the front part.

But everyone is entitled to my opinion!  ;)

I hear what you are saying. I just like the single inlet and more subtle.

BTW, these are not "mine" but ones I like. :D

i really like this look also. i will probably go with the DDM vented fenders unless something better comes along. Amazing what a little pice of fiberglass/sheetmetal can do to the overall look of the car.
