Coupe crescent-shaped plastic piece . . .
« on: March 13, 2010, 09:27:42 PM »
. . . directly beneath the rear window spoiler lip, mounted with a stainless screw at each end. OK, screws are removed but how do you remove that plastic, body-color piece from underneath the rear spoiler lip!! Want to mount the rear-view camera there for my Motevo NAVI/DVD head unit. Any special trick to removing the E-brake (parking) surround panel? How is stock XM antenna box mounted to the roof and/or can this antenna be used for NAVI (same freq range, orientation dependent?) . . . OK, guess that's it for now . . . TIA

Oh, plan on documenting whole Coupe Motevo/camera install with pics, but in thread already started by Joe in this forum in December . . . too many things on my plate . . .

Remove the two screws, it is held in by 4 press on clips like the ones around the radio and shifter.  Apply tape to the paint below the panel you want to remove and use a thin screwdriver to pry it off.  I've had this off on my coupe just to see what was under there :)
