Topic: 2.4 automatic tunes?

Does anyone have experience with tunes for the 2.4 engine and an auto tranny? I was asked a few days ago what options are available for that set up but as I have a GXP I'm not sure what's out there.

Lets not start out with turbos and superchargers just the base engine with an auto.

Thanks for posting this Sly Bob! There seems to be a lot offered for the "older" 2.4 Kappas but not much for the 2009 automatics. I would like to take advantage of my GMPP CAI and Solo header, HF CAT and SQ-2 exhaust. By the way Bob, I bought a used ECM today on E-Bay but need to find the right tune. Thanks in advance ... Vector Motorsports can tune the ECM. The TCM is inside the transmission I believe so no one can tune that. Maybe the folks at DDM can explain it better, when they tune for the supercharger they don't/can't tune the transmission but other tweaks are made to the ECM that helps.
Just remember, since you are not having your stock ECM tuned, it will throw an engine code & you will need to take it to the dealer or someone to clear the code & perform a crank position re-learn. You also will have to re-learn the ignition key security but you can do that yourself.

Jimmy, the TCM as you can see from this illustration is located on the firewall beneath the ECM. If you have an auto it is quite easily accessible.

Sly Bob, I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out. I actually had to go out & look, it's hidden under a piece black shielding material. I was passing on information from another source when I was digging for the answer to the same question before I got my tune.
