Help picking a Blow Off Valve
« on: April 11, 2010, 09:34:30 PM »
Need help picking out a different blow off valve.  My Hahn blow valve sticks often so I put the stock BOV back on but I only get 23lbs boost instead of 25lbs with the Hahns BOV.  I understand TIAL makes a great BOV. Please advice Model /vendor/etc. Need a valve good to 400hp. Thanks

Either the hks ssqv or synapse engineering synchronic, i have the hks but if i were to do it again i would go with the synapse, both will serve you fine.

FYI the synapse is always open. Meaning under idle it will blow air out. You
must recirculate it after the maf and before the turbo on the intake for it to work correctly. Not looking for an argument on re subject just stating a fact. But as far as the blow off valve itself the synapse is by far the best because of how it is made. If you have vacum it is open I you have boost it is closed
