Just wanted to take a few moments to say hello ! We just purchased a 2008 Solstice GXP in Brazen orange with the ebony leather with gray stitching, manual tranny, Monsoon and Chrome wheels ! We are picking it up on Saturday, can't wait ! I've already got it setup to get the GMPP tune and air intake installed on Monday(wife doesn't know about that yet !) I work at a GM dealer so I got them at cost, which helps and is the main reason i went with the GM stuff along with the warranty coverage. Any way I'm glad to be a part of this site and hope I can give as much as I take from it !

I will post pictures after I pick it up on saturday. As for the Insider comment I will help anyway I can. Speaking of which I came across a couple of boxes of 08 & 09 Pontiac brochures in the parts department the other day, anyone need one ?

Several versions of the Kappa Platform were made, Solstice, Saturn Sky, Opel GT and Daewoo G2X

Welcome Scott to the forum.  Getting the GMPP Tune and the extended Warranty will benefit you more than you can ever believe.  Your GXP will take on a new personality for sure and a perma grin will go forward as you get to know what a sweetheart you have!  We have a 2007 GXP early build and had a Tune, and got the GMPP Major Guard extended coverage as well.  Very glad we did!  With your Tune I would certainly recommend that you add the DDMWorks Powder coated Race Backbone 3/8th and ProBeam from Dave and Randy.  They are sponsors on this forum and in fact make all the National Meets.  We had ours added at the Colorado 2009 North American Solstice Sky Meet.  The difference in handling and improvement in suspension will surprise you.  Look forward to your comments after you take delivery.

Welcome!  You should christen the car with a trip down to the Maryland Mod Meet at the end of April... a number of folks are coming down from the New York area (and even further north).  You'll get to see the full gamut of just what you can do to your car... plus my 2008 Brazen won't be alone then!
