Hello all,
I am a long time lover and new owner of a Pontiac Solstice. I purchased #000256 of the first 1000. The color is black. Looking for rides around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

bOn2a1,

Welcome to the group!  If by "rides around the Olympic Peninsula" you mean WAY around, you are welcome to drive down to San Diego CA for a run :)

Hope you have a great time in your car.  Keep your eyes out for ideas to mod your car.  it just keeps getting better and better.

Thanks @Gentleman Jack. I may make it down your way some day. I have family and friends down there. My father was very active with the various Miata groups down there. He is on his way to a run in Yucca this week end.  As for local rides I am hoping to find a group around here to join. I see plenty of Sol's and Sky's running around but there doesn't seem to be a local club.

Saving my pennies for some mods.

Welcome!
You have some great roads to ride out there!
I lived in Port Orchard for a couple years when I was  in the Navy & found some really beatuiful rides arround that area on a motorcycle.
Enjoy your Sol & if you need help with something concerning it I'm sure you can find it here.

Hello all,

A warm welcome bOn2a1 to the Kappa Performance Forum!  What an honor to add another quality person who just happens to own Pontiac Solstice #000256 of the first 1000.  Glad to have you hanging here now.  In your opening statement when you said "I am a long time lover and new owner of a Pontiac Solstice" you had me hook line and sinker!

@jimmybaja Thanks for the welcome. Yes we have lots of great roads out here. As a kid I drove my 1967 mustang then my 1968 Firebird all around the Pacific Northwest. In the last few years I have been running with my Dad and the local Miata clubs. I am now looking for like minded Solstice owners to form local club and drive.

@GXPinKC Thanks for the welcome. The first day I say the Solstice I new I had to have one. It reminded me of the 1968 fire bird I had before I was married. After many years and several kids I had an opportunity to buy one of the first 1000. I jumped at it. I am loving every minute it.

Welcome. The people on this forum probably know more about the Sol/Sky than GM does. They can answer any question you have.
