Different sources have different information about what gear ratio is 3rd gear. Also saw that in 2009 the GXP 3rd gear ratio was changed.

Haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

Interesting...didn't realize that my third gear could be different...or were you talking about the 06's with the incredibly tall 3rd gear?

New update: I was announced that my WOT Box has arrived, later today I will pick it up. When I ordered it I was told by the local vendor that in 5 days will be delivered, has been 3 weeks fixed since then. Just a small comment to understand where I'm living, Africa of tuning.

Now I have to figure out how to wire the WOT Box, I hope I will not have problems. After installing I will do some new logs with HPT and check the difference. Sunday I will go to a new drag race, hopefully if the weather is good, I will try to race same cars as in previous race if we don't have timeslips again.

jimmy: I always showed pictures when I was to a race, same for videos, I think this time I will have some problems because my camera person (my gf) said she is tired sitting 6h alone on a airfield taking pictures, might be first time when I will be missing pictures. I will try to mount my camera in the car to film the runs from inside

Timeslips? that is something alienish for this country, only one race has that and is not that one this time.

Hot blonde whooping me? I will ask my girlfriend to whoop me just for you. The picture should be before or after whooping?

OK, I gotta ask...what is a WOT Box?

Is it a box that when you step on the gas goes "Woot that was fast"???

I also second the pictures of the hot blond girl....before, after, during, anytime...just post pics of her!!

You gotta read first

I get annoyed by this, you want blonde pictures, go search and stop ruining even this topic.

I'm the one that derailed Kelu's thread, sorry about that Kelu, just trying to keep the humor.
Good luck with your WOT box project & with your next race event, I know you will give us results for both.

There's a wotbox for sale on ebay for pretty cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220613812011&_trksid=p2759.l1259
I was thinking of getting it but i already have no lift to shift with the gmpp tune, and launch control would probably only be useful with sticky icky slicks.

Kelu, I'm shifting @ 7200 for 1st and 2nd, 6000 for 3rd,4th.  My hoosier racing tires are about 3.75 cm less in diamentor that stock tires and improve acceleration. Using gmpp sensors then changing my Bsr tune to match those sensors improved my performance and as you remember I blew my piston not because of the tune but the hp I was making. I'm about to gut my cat and re-weld it shut. Cheaper than buying a $400 down pipe .

shabby: Correct, you would be gaining almost nothing, only consistency of launches.

Using gmpp sensors then changing my Bsr tune to match those sensors improved my performance and as you remember I blew my piston not because of the tune but the hp I was making.
How you did that? Because I know BSR is not modeling their tunes to match custom set-ups. There is any indicator to blame the hp for your engine problem? (I saw that issue even on stock oem or stock gmpp engines)

I'm about to gut my cat and re-weld it shut. Cheaper than buying a $400 down pipe .
A catless downpipe is 200$ not 400$, I have one of those and all I can tell is I recommend it.

New update:  :banghead: my WOT Box came with no adapter Serial plug (on WOT Box) and USB (to PC) to be able to use their software and detect if the wires are installed correctly and to set it up easily.
I can install it without the software but it will be done like a blind man, will be hard to debug it which one is working and which isn't. I asked the local vendor about this and he said the exporter from US said "we didn't had those on stock but we will sent it to you as soon we will have it on stock"

 :goat:

I know I can buy one from a PC store, guess what, called 5 of them which were selling this cable/adaptor and NONE have it on stock and costs 18-25$

P.S. I hate this country

This what you're looking for? Is 3ft (90 cm) long enough?

yeap, that is correct, actually WOT Box comes with an adapter so any USB cable would be good with that:

Here's vid's of mine.  I actually ordered a 2step w/ nitrous control only wotbox, but they sent me one w/NLS.  And the difference between this and the GMPP one is :censor: ing night and day, if I knew how good the NLS control is on this thing I'd have ordered one with all the functions to begin with.  Also, vid's are just for demo, I usually launch off 2500.
