so, i got the new tcm installed last thursday along with a new armrest (it started cracking).
friday i went on a 150 mile round trip to look at getting a honda fury and she did fine the entire trip-i should say better than fine, the tranny seemed more responsive when i squished the peddle (placebo effect from the new tcm?)

the fun part is the check engine light came on when i was nearly home yesterday, onstar said it was a tcm-ecm error dealing with the power train and i should get the dealership asap, i did check for the --- error and the ac, and both were fine so new problem or new symptom of the old problem....

Back to the dealer i go.

My 2.4l Solstice exhibited this same intermittent issue, and I decided to try the easy/economical temp sensor replacement. 10 minutes and $20 solved my issue completely.
