CDC Autox 7-31-10 at Hylton High in Woodbridge
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:28:53 AM »
Was hoping to see some of you guys out at the Woodbridge CDC event on Saturday.  Only the gal in the yellow GXP was there to fly the Kappa flag.  The weather was gorgeous, as the heat and humidity stayed down until the very end.  The field was light, just over 50 cars, so they combined the first and second and third and fourth run groups and gave us four runs in the afternoon.  I let Mike Moran, the course designer, drive the coupe in the morning, to my regret, as he beat me by two seconds.  I finished tenth with a 40.5.  Still, the FFRs dominated, with four cars taking the top ten slots.

Here's a vid of my best run (note the spiffy new data display; upgraded the Chasecam with the new DashWare interface offered by Larry of Casey Design):

Nice video   When I read Mike Moran made you to regret I thought he damaged your car, but than I read he ruined only your time  :poke: that should motivate you even more to get better time, I know words are easy to be said and very hard to accomplish that thing when racing.

Anyhow, my respects to the racer

Sorry Ben, after Cumberland my tires are completely shot. Besides, hunting season is right around the corner...going to have to spend some money for that hobby so I'm not sure when I'll be back out there. Going to still try to make it to the Cumberland events, but we'll see...
