I went to Englishtown.....on a NHRA sanctioned event!  lol   (saturday, SPRING NATIONALS EVENT)
that's why they are strict...

I can't just go there on a weekday.......and chance it....if they'll let me run.   I don't want to take a day off from work........and then find out, that the techs wont even let me run.

you know?

thats at least 9 hours of wasted time, money, and mileage....

kelu........kenny's car got some RMR roll bar! ;)
thats probably why  ...i dunno.

I don't know why Techs are very hard on my car all the time :(   I guess the stickers all over my car irritates the track techs....compared to other clean cars.

you just dont know how frustrated I am that I cant use it at the track.

Thats why CT_solstice, his buddy, and I.....are really planning to have roll-bars on our cars installed.   We have a shop in mind now that can install it.    I want this bad.....

The good old boys in ohio get all pissed off if you have stickers and they arent "K&N" "Mallory" or "ARP" And god forbid they are on anything but a big block Nova.

Keep me in the look on a roll bar. I may be interested next year when your car is finished ;)

There is another track, Lebanon Valley Dragway, West Lebanon, New York. It may be closer than Englishtown? I've never been there, but I do believe its not far from the Mass border.

I have joined the KRONUS crew, I will eventually make it to a gathering.

When I owned my SSS, I was a member of a site, and a member in western Mass would have a gathering planned in October to go to the track and run their tucks.

yeah...I guess, that's one of the negatives having those sponsor stickers...lol

but yeah, I'll try to get some legit roll bars that will pass inspection, so I can run.

I'm already talking to STATUS for a couple of 6-pt harnesses as well.....

Subject- Roll Bars   There are so many different rules With different sanctioning organizations.  With the NHRA ,they have tech inspectors that go to the place that is building your roll bar and installing it.  It is not uncommon for them to make you change your design, costing you more money and re doing the bar. From time to time ,they may even make you upgrade the bar to a safer design as rules change to promote safety. My friend Don who owns a shop called Chassis Concepts makes his living building Dragsters,Funny Cars and upgrading the old race cars roll bars and cages. They really start getting picky when your car runs 11 sec or below in 1/4 mile.  So before you install a Roll Bar, decide where you plan to race, find that sanctioning bodies rules, connect with the tech inspector to help with the design and find a shop that specializes in Roll bars. P.S I have a really cool Chrome Dragster cage that was cut out of a Dragster for upgrade. Not sure what I going to do with it yet.

As you can see, the compound set-up is a PACKAGING NIGHTMARE!  :)

How about water to air intercooler to keep the packaging smaller?

I actually thought about that last year.  But there's some cons on it as well, thats why I didnt go with it.

if packaging will still be a biitch, 3 water/meth nozzles at different locations (pre-small turbo, inter-turbos, and pre-tb) will do the trick  :)

One expensive hunk of INCONEL bellowl!

This will take care of the expansion from header to gt4294r to return tube. It's an expansion bellow for pre-turbo heat/vibration relief for the big turbo.

The main Burn's collector already has double slip (which is awesome) so that will take care of the gt2871r side of things.

will your 42lb injectors support enough fuel on E85? It should, but I would think you would be near the max on Injector duty cycle with E85

if the "5th injector kit" w/ upgraded fuel lobe cams of another vendor supports 700hp LNF balts using E85

I am confident that my extra 4 port injectors (42 lb/min) w/ upgraded fuel lobe cams will be ok.

the reason I say that is the flow and the lbs per min Im going to be pushing I see  42s (440cc) being benifical and being close to static but not yet reaching the max idc values. Now if I want more room I might b going with 500cc injectors just because theyll flow enough and shouldn't be static nor near maxed out. This will also keep the flowrate and pulses nice and clean since the injectors will not be horribly huge. Basically a larger driver will work but even the smaller ones will work just fine. Now keeping it on the safe side by running the 4 secondary injectors early to help keep the lnf idcs down and less stress on the di pump....

I'll start with these set first, which I'm confident will be fine.   I can easily drop in 500cc if REALLY NEEDED.

Finally, I can see the light down this dark tunnel!!! lol

June 29, 2012  is THE day when the compound turbo kit will be personally delivered and installed by Baldturbofreak (BTF)! :)
