I'm guessing you have quickly just checked the ground connections, as I know a bad ground can cause all sorts of weird issues.

Yup, about a hundred times.  I keep hoping I will find something simple and be done with this.  I will keep checking every time I open the hood...

Buddy, I feel so bad, I have some parts from the wrecked Opel GT which might help you out with replacement (turbo bypass solenoid, maf, etc) and if I was closer I would be more than happy to donate for a good cause.

All I do hope is that you will not switch parts until you realize you transformed your LNF in a LSx engine

Kelu,
No worries buddy!  At this point, my total cost is actually pretty low.  I have the upgraded clamps ($24) and the EVAP solenoid ($32).  Other than that, I have been able to check everything else for free (Thanks again to TAZZ, Randy, Dave et al).  I have spent a whole bunch of time with the hood up staring down at the engine hoping, but my time is free.  The only other thing I'd be doing is working, so who cares?
If you feel really bad though, please keep all the LNF parts for yourself and just send me a LS9.  If it's easier, you can keep the Corvette wrapped around the engine for safer shipping.  I can take delivery at my house at any time.

Thanks,

GJ

actually, now that I think about it, I would rather have the CTS-V.  If you have already shipped the Corvette, I guess I would settle for it.  If not, please change my packaging material to the Cadillac.  Thank you.

LS9, Vette, you got me wrong, those things are my dream, I can't share them with you, at least not this time.

P.S. CTS-V is planned for mid age, I still can handle a vette, dunno about you :P

If you hadn't already ordered the part, I'd say if you want to try it first, and are willing to make the drive to Ventura, I'd happily pull the part off my car so you can try it and see if it resolves your issue or not.

MGar,
That's a tempting offer.  Let me see if the new spring solves it (when will that get here......) and then I will let you know.  How far from SD to Ventura?  bout two hours?  must be some good eats around there so I could at least buy you lunch.
