WTB: broken Solstice tail light
« on: December 14, 2008, 11:31:12 AM »
I am interested in modding my Solstice tail lights with LEDs but I am looking for an old tail light to experiment on. Is not important that the lens is intact just that the reflector is mostly there. Even if I have to glue the reflector.  :o

You guys are hilarious!

I really want to put together LED tail lights but I don't want to trash my tail lights. It'd be great to have one to practice on but not havein' much luck. Maybe I will go the lazy man's route and just get LED bulbs. These look pretty good. I know that there was a thread on another board a year or two ago and many tried them but ended up taking them out. These have radial LEDs to light the reflector more evenly.

I have one. I have the same idea as you. The reflector plate will make it very hard, for me to get the look I'm looking for. So after I get the oversee's rear lenses, I will be able to go LED. I you want the lens it's yours. PST me.

Looks from your Avatar that you have a SKY. I am looking for one for the Solstice. Thanks for the offer though. Yeah the reflector and the fact that the lens is clear makes it difficult. You are getting GT tail lights for yours?
