MPG Economy Run 10/30/2010
« on: October 19, 2010, 05:20:10 PM »
Saturday, October 30, 2010. A different kind of driving event. Test your skills at light footed driving. How many MPG can you squeeze out of your Solstice or Sky? This event is sponsored by The Richmond Triumph Register and will be a 130 mile round trip drive through some scenic backroads in central VA. Awards for highest MPG overall, best MPG in class, and best Ton MPG. Entrants include a late model Corvette, a 1967 Olds 442, a 3 wheel Citroen, and numerous other classic and/or bizarre vintage sports cars. So, we all know you guys (and gals) can drive fast, but can you get 50+mpg doing it? Come on out and join the fun. $25/car, meet starts at 8:00AM, first car out at 8:30 with 1 minute intervals after that. Lunch and awards around 1:30PM. Starting point is Robious Rd and Huguenot Rd in SW Richmond, VA. Interested? Need more info? Let me know.

Jeff

Sounds fun! I did an unofficial MPG in my Solstice long ago and got 33.6 mpg! :yay:
