1 LIL NDN: I don't know how I missed your reply until now:
 :ttiwwp:
Don't tell me your PT is a LNF too  :gaah:

Update on topic: Used it at the track, with small wheels, didn't saw or felt any difference. Maybe I forgot to ON the master switch?  :idk:  :idiot:

I'm trying to figure out now a value from our ECU which I can monitor with HPT so I can see it clearly when I spray. Any ideas guys?

Not yet, but if no answer from around here I will throw the question there too.

I have updated the topic with clear images with the dynos from previous page.

I took care of his tune today, the silly :censor: er was running stock timing on a 50 shot.  In any case, he should be good for a 75-100 now depending on how big of balls he has.  I've hit er with a 100 a few times till the clutch let go with not too many ill effects.

THANK YOU PANTHERS    :urock:

I thought 50 shot with cold bottle is ok with stock timing, if that sucker did sprayed on the dyno than this engine is great, no issues shown on the logs with that shot

My balls are big enough with a spare engine and tranny behind my back  :poke: but I want to see this sucker working smoothing and see it braking those damn 13.3-13.6s ETs.

so, Kelu now you have to test it again and let us know how much gains pantherqs' advises gave you.
for drag, big balls are a negative factor.
they add weight

so, the smaller the balls, the faster you go...

Bobby: You didn't answered to my previous question, is a LNF too?
You have one of those cool bottle heaters which you can set up a pressure range and keeps going on/off to keep the bottle in the pressure range?
Any recommendations? I'm trying to educate myself because bottle heater is in my next shopping list.

Arabas: Pantherqs helped me to avoid disasters (retard the timing and other smooth changes in the tune) and MANY useful info like what spark plugs to use, how to spray, etc
HP in a nitrous setup is all about jets ;)

No its a 2.4 same motor thats in the SRT 4 Dodge NEON .  Bottle heater is just heater not  thermostatic type just a switch to turn it on. Summer you don't need it. Mine is a Zex Kit direct port . Each cylinder has a Nozle

Went to a different dyno after installing a window switch (through WOT Box).

This dyno is a low reading mustang uncorrected and I trust it more than prvious, I used this back in 2009 when I did a before/after exhaust tests:
[ Guests cannot view attachments ]
No nitrous
HP: 205KW = 274whp or 278 whp in metric
Torque: 430Nm = 317 ft/lbs

With 50hp shot nitrous from 3500rpm
HP: 230KW = 308whp or 312 whp in metric
Torque:  445 Nm = 328 ft/lbs

Difference:
- 35whp and 11 ft/lbs

Some personal notes:
Now I understand why I don't feel it when I spray on streets/race because there is only 11 ft/lbs difference.
Normally a 50hp shot should be 50 whp but because my bottle has no heater so it has way lower nitrous pressure (600psi instead of 1000psi) I get less power increase, also because the nitrous is less I noticed -10% adjusting on fuel trims so it runs very rich, with a proper nitrous pressure I will approach to 50whp.
I did over 10-12 runs on the dyno, I have played with AFR and timing on the high rpms but I didn't saw many gains so I went back to the rich baseline.

I'm about to buy a bottle heater and nozzles for 75hp and 100hp shots, depending how fast I will get that from US I will have more results updated here.

Carefull how large a shot you use, someone blew his block apart a couple of years ago with a 200 or 250 shot.  I don't remember which.

Kelu  DDM has a "Solstice" Sky in heir shop that has a 35 shot in it .    In Our PT Club we had a boy blow his PT up. He said it felt so neat he forgot to take his finger off the Button and shot so much in it . It is Fun but Don't want to over -do it

Critterman: I know about that topic, is GreaseyJokey from Sol BB forum, I read that topic many times, he blew the engine with a 300hp shot, that means he was doing like 600hp on a stock motor, he did that on purpose. I have talked with other guys with nitrous on LNF and other local guys who used nitrous, panthersq is using nitrous for more than a year, he is pushing a 100hp shot now (he used 50 and 75 shot previously), my target is 75 or 100 maximum, with this shot I will reach my power target of 350-360whp.

1 LIL NDN: Yeah, I saw pictures with that but 35hp shot is same on any stock engine, Dave is a slow email answer in my case  :idk:
If the PT guy hit the rev limiter while spraying = blown engine, that's why I just installed a rpm window switch in mine through WOT Box so I don't push the button anymore, now I just turn the system on and it is spraying by itself in a designated rpm range, if I'm not at WOT or in that rpm range it doesn't spray, also it cuts spraying if I touch the clutch.

Thank you guys for the concern but I like to do my homework  and if it blows, it blows, this are the risks when you play. I have a spare engine in parts, I will be more pissed to blow this engine doing weak power (270whp without nitrous) than doing my targeted 350whp.

Kelu ;  Ya   This guy just had the old type button on -off no safty features at all .  Mine won't come on unless the Arming switch is on . Mine like yours window switch ,set RPM range to spray . with WOT control.  I wanted a Fail safe system . Not like years ago with just a button . Enjoy it   ,( I do )
