What about a new group buy for Europe? Sending all braces to one member in Europe, and send them to the other locations. Would be a lot cheaper sending one single package with 5-6 braces crossing the pound.
I have no problems sending the product to one person in Europe to get the shipping charges to a more reasonable price.
However the price of the LVKFCBrace can not be lowered. The only way to do this is to make them in quantities of 50 or more.
I wish the original person that was going to manufacture the product would have not back down.
It was the Father of a good friend.
This product just like the Solstice\SKY cooler are done for the members of the forum, no profit is being made on this product.
This is the reason is not been offered on the Solstice/SKY forum, the fees they want are to high for such a small quantity.
Also I can no longer offer any product on either one of those forums without having to pay the vendors fees that are fairly high.
Yes, if you are a good welder and would have the specs you could turn them out for less money.
Since I am not a welder/fabricator, I had to find someone that was good enough to produce a quality product at a reasonable price.
IliasGT will have one in the next 3 - 5 days.
If you guys want to produce them your selfs for the European members of the forum you have my permission to do it.

That is a pretty good report, from both of you.
However what I need to know is as follows.
Body lean, how much less?.
At high speeds on a straight line, how much more of a solid feel the car has?.
On bank curves at high speed, does the car still behaves as though you were driving at a lower speed?.
In other words, now that I have the suspension and the car body locked into one, the tires have become the Achilles heel, yes?.
The above assumes a very good driver.

Similar to gmtech, I already had a heavily modified (suspension) car. I had very little twist in the car to begin with. So with the exception of the "rolling" bumps in the road no longer feeling like I am driving a '70 Cadilac, I would say that the car does not twist any less now than before.

With the new brace installed, I feel much more confident in the front end steering of the car and the handling in high speed turns and straight line runs.  Example: I have a certain 145 degree "high" speed, flat on-ramp to I-95. The total length of the turn is little over 300 yards and I usually would take this turn at 55-60 mph. Last run over this weekend on this on ramp was at 85 mph with NO tire squeal. Which tells me there is more to be gained in this turn. The hood stays level, no flex and no roll in the car. Just goes around the turn smoothly. I would most definitely agree the weak link at this point would be the rubber and brakes.  I personally have now had discussions with fellow co-workers about renting a skid pad for g-force testing ono our various cars.  I am personally interested where my "threshold of" pain is at and how hard can I really push the car before spin-out.

I drive 70 mph regularly on I-95 in New England in HEAVY traffic with numerous lane changes and the car is planted. I do get some "high" speed runs on an occasion and have felt no issues in the front end due to the stiffening. I think DBG gave the best assessment of this.

CT_Solstice,

Not enough snow to even talk about here last weekend.

Will be doing a bit of driving this weekend and may have a review after that.

Since you are buying an IC from DDM, we could ask Dave to send the LVKFCBrace in the same shipment as the IC.

Hello LV  you need 7 more people to place a order to make  the 3th batch. I hope you get them by the end of Jan or Feb.
Hope you all have a great Christmas.
