Ah, smartin you got that right.  You waited just hours for your delivery!  How sweet does it get!   Uh, immediate gratification and joy with a smile as big as the one permanently implanted on the face of Jack Nicholson who played the part of the Joker in the original "Batman" movie.  Well, the smile is still glowing on your beautiful face unlike The "Joker" who got his after falling in a vat of boiling chemicals that took surgery to leave him permanently scarred with his henous smile.  The only difference is that his was surgically applied, yours is legit and remained permanently attached these five years.

Rejoice smartin and happy birthday to you and your Solstice on it's 5th birthday.  I am indeed envious cause it took Carol and I eight full months of waiting on our early build GXP.  Now that was tough waiting for sure but my smile has been permanent as well since 12-27-2006 our date of delivery.  What a SWEET ride you have!!!  Again, Happy Birthday to your Sol!

There's more to this story. They wouldn't let me drive my Deep, because it was on the showroom floor. So I drove the Aggressive that they had, but I wouldn't leave in the Aggressive until they brought along the keys to the Deep. I didn't want anyone buying it out from under me. When I got back, there were several men seriously bummed out that the Deep was no longer available.

And I joined SF the next day. So I'm one of the few people who actually had my Solstice BEFORE I became a member.

I may have told you this, but I used to live in St. Pete many, many years ago. Pinellas Park -- Shore Acres specifically.

My mom used to live in this beautiful cathedral ceiling home in Tampa on a main drag. And my sister was born in Tampa Bay Hospital.

No,  I didn't know that. Conversely, I spent, and sometimes still do, a lot of time in Virginia. Dad was stationed at the pentagon and at Fort Monroe, where I have some very fond memories. I went back and spent 2weeks before the Dragon this year. Did Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and a lot of other places while there. My best friend lives near Roanoke, and a daughter and granddaughters in Fredericksburg. It appears we have some cross ties here.
