| D/FW 'Poker Run' benefiting Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, May 14th |

More info will be up at this link soon. http://www.texoassociation.org/ This is put on by the Dallas equivalent of the AGC. If I remember correctly it's 35 bucks or so. You get a good lunch with that, plus 2 beers or cokes, and you can't attend without winning a door prize unless you're the unluckiest person in the world. You drive to various construction company offices, get a playing card, (and usually some swag), and at the end you register your best poker hand. Prize for best hand is usually really sweet. There's also a 'crowd favorite' car prize, and crowd favorite motorcycle prize. SWTSKY went with me the first year. JR and Karen last year. Would love to get a big group this year so I'm posting early. Yall come! And remember, it's tax deductable!! (I'll post some pics from previous years when I get a round tuit) |

O.K., the registration page is now up TEXO Poker Run Registration Scroll down to the blue section. Select NON member, choose your route, give name, use SWSC as company, leave an email and phone number. If you will have a rider or "significant other" with you, they need to register too, if they want a t-shirt. If your rider wants to play a poker hand, then they register just the same as you. If your rider just wants to eat, then they register and select "registering for cookout only". This will only cost 15 dollars. Pre-registering gets you a 25 dollar price instead of 30, and the first 100 pre-registers get a t-shirt. No money is due till you show up on the day of the event. |

Haven't got any replies on this forum, but just in case, We'll meet Saturday Morning. Let's say 9:30, at the hospital. 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219 - Google Maps There is a new exit off of the tollway for Oak Lawn that makes it real easy to get there. Last year the entrance to the hospital off of Oak Lawn was closed, and you entered off of Maple, onto Welborn. The registration is in the park in front of the hospital. I'll be there a little early, I'll be parked under the carport right in front. |
