This calipers are really thick.

Forget to fit this on stock rims, 10-15mm spacer needed.

The inlet hose thread banjo to the caliper is M10x1
I think that an 8mm spacer is enough because I use 4 piston brembo cals in my stock rims (328x28) with that spacers. They are taken from a Ferrari 360 modenas 99+

Is not a matter of pistons or disc width, is just the caliper size. Boxsters are very very wide for the width of disc they are made for (25mm). In the pic I said 10-15mm needed, you are seeing a -17 Offset from stock wheel (17mm outer) a few mms of the caliper.

Rotoras 4 pot are biting 30mm discs, and are a lot farer fromt the spokes.

Look at the rear end, yes, it is a full front brake system.

I am happy with the current set up but..

1.- There are not good pads for the stock calipers (I love ferodos ds2500)
2.- Stock calipers weight a ton
3.- This brembos fit perfect on stock rotors
4.- I will improve the bite

I will tell you how the new calipers feel on braking.

This is probably too late, but if you get the upright/hub carrier off again, can you see if you can fit a C5 or C6 hub on ?

Or just the parking backing plate from the C5 Corvette? Corvette hub bolts measure 4" on center between bolts if someone has a Kappa hub off or in the air.

I just realized you were in Spain.  Getting a C5/C6 hub could be a major problem there :)

Could you place a ruler in the back view of the hub ?  I want to see if the PCD is the same as C5/C6 hub.

Another picture would be a ruler with the hub positioned horizontally, sitting on the studs.  I want to see if some dimensions are equal.

Lastly, if you got the rear hub, see if you can count the spline/teeth.

Thanks !

Did you ever get pictures?  I know I'm late to the thread.

Also.. do you have dimensions for the mounting bracket you needed to make to mount the Boxster calipers on the stock upright?  I'm interested in looking into this further based upon reading this thread.

Thanks.

Ok, so now I'm confused. Are you the same guy that figured out that the Cobalt's stock brembo could be retro fitted into our cars? Where do you get the brackets? Are they custom. The reason I'm really wanting to find out is cause I track my car a lot and I'm looking into upgrading the brake up front. Let me know. Thanks
