Looking to get some custom graphics done
« on: March 18, 2011, 01:19:58 PM »
I want to get some graphics on the car. Not sure what to get and I'm thinkin' of just doing something small under the hood to start. I have met a gentleman locally that does absolutely beautiful work but I'm unsure what I want to do. Maybe just something on the DDM coil cover and progress from there.

He's an artist and not a web designer so the gallery on his site might not work in Firefox although it works great in IE. Viewing the gallery in Firefox will give you a "404 Error File Not Found".

I actually love that one. I was thinking of a large Pontiac logo with lightning and the years Pontiac existed along the bottom. Maybe on the hood liner? Maybe just on the coil cover?

The maple leaf represents Canada and this car was obviously, from the head rests and the maple leaf, created to commemorate a beer commercial that ran in Canada a few years ago.

he's a very great artist, and done tons of work with sky/solstice owners.

he did those nice artwork on that black canvas underneath the hood.

I have seen Corrado's work and he does great stuff. This guy is just a few miles from my house and does great work so why would I go elsewhere?

accessibility is good! :)

if BTF is near me, my car will be at his shop all the time.

SMG is a few miles away from me, so I go with him.

Just make sure you know what your getting into with the air brushing. There is no turning back. I had to repaint the whole car again. The air brushing was a nice touch for a few years, but then I got bored of it.

You sound like a girl...

Tough crowd!

I think I would stick to airbrushing things that were easily reversable.

There is also a place in Elizabethtown, PA call http://www.wolfpackgraphix.com/.  LLLFly had his hood line airbrushed there.  I couldn't find hood liners there but if you call them you can get pricing.

After the air brushing is finished..Is the artwork have any type of sealer on it..
