Turbo Map Comparison Needed
« on: March 10, 2011, 08:52:45 PM »
After speaking with Lyndon tonight, I need to get a turbo map comparison between the stock K04 and the 2871 upgrade.  Does anyone have this or know where I could find it?  He wants to see it before he begins tuning for it.

Does this mean Lyndon is coming to the meet or is it via the phone?

BNR2871 is a hybrid turbo and the standard GT2871 compressor maps might not apply, there are 10 different GT2871R listed on Garret site:
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbochargers.html
Best call is to talk with DDM/BNR about which one might apply in this case.

As for K04 compressor map, this might be but not 100% even SKY888 said it was confirmed by Kurt Henderson of Borg Warner:

I'm guessing but here is my guess:

Install new equipment
put on dyno
Log using HPT
send file to Lyndon
get file back
install with HPT
repeat

untill all are satisfied
