Topic: AEM AFR gauge - Need advice with wiring

I am in the process of installing an AEM afr gauge. I've already welded up the sensor bung  to my turbo down tube, installed the sensor, and ran the wire harness through the firewall. I'm now at the stage of wiring up my power source. I need a constant 12v source utilizing a 5amp fuse and a switched 12v source utilizing a 5amp fuse. I'd like to know what people here have plugged into for the power sources. Any help would be awesome!

The electrical power source is found passenger side inside the car where you would brace your feet if your wife was driving your car. The panel pulls out for easy access. I use this source for my AEM boost gauge, oil temp and oil pressre gauges. This is how Dave at Performance Autowerks does it since he did not like my original way for my boost gauge electrical source.

Thanks for the help guys! I got it figured out yesterday. The AEM wideband has two red wires for constant power, a pink for switched power, a black for ground, a grey for dimming, and white/brown for data logging.

I hooked up the red wires to the rearview mirror since it was the only thing in the cabin that had a constant feed and a 5amp fuse. I wired the pink wire to one of the empty slots on the BCM. The grey went to the power supply on the backside of the gauge cluster (which was also grey). I grounded the black to the ground location under the arm rest.

Gauge works awesome!

Hey, so the empty slots in the BCM get power as well?  Did you install a 10a fuse?  Does it matter which?

I tried running mine off the 'Cluster' 10a figuring that only gets power when the key is turned but the gauge never shut off.  Anyone have a good suggestion?

The ground spot under the arm rest was perfect though.  Thanks
