Not much compared to my 31,600 on one forum: http://www.advrider.com/forums/member.php?u=12058 and as much on others, but a nice beginning.

Might have had a few rough patches,  :slap: but I rarely give up easily, and this forum is actually pretty tame compared to some. I like it! :yay:

I think I will stay a while. Hell, I even paid here, and I do not usually do that! :2c: :D

You got that right for sure 1 LIL NDN, after all its Kappa Performance!  The place where the pedal meets the metal in style and performance is king.  The Eagle still gets looks.  Ain't it grand to be driving a Kappa...they are more exclusive cause darn it, GM doesn't make them anymore...sad indeed!

I'll say it again...  Post count doesn't mean shit.  Some people here with over 2500 posts have not said much more than   :D:urock::agree: , and of course  :yay: or some touchy feely crap.

No before anyone says something to the fact that I have a lot of posts with nothing more than  :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: , I'm just making fun of a certain :pw: that hasn't posted anything usefull or performance related in longer than I can remember.

I'm not saying that all of my posts are geared toward going faster or turning sharper, because most of them are not, but I do slip one in once in a while and even give some advice about my strong point: Detailing.  As a matter of fact, most of my posts are quips or light-hearted jabs, mostly at people I have met in person or know well through the forum.

So like I said, all these people that say, "Look at me! I have ____ posts!" are mostly full of crap...

I think some might be missing my point, but that is OK with me too. :yay:

Post count has zero to do with contributions, helpfulness, friendliness, or much of anything. It is simply a marker. I never expect or want congratulations for reaching some arbitrary goals of erroneous and useless numbers like 1000 posts or some such nonsense.

My goal in any forum is to make real contributions of substance, and to have a little fun. That was the point of my post. I also wish to learn from those willing to share. I have zero interest in proving myself, that can never be done on a forum, only in person.

Thanks to those who welcome strangers with open arms, mature dialog and kind words, YOU are the reason many of us stay, when there are other options!

For a person that has the saying "Morally Flexible" under his Avatar that sure was some finger pointing nasty post.....   :o
Maybe its best to leave a PM to that particular person you basically outlined as being a :pw:..................... :slap:

Mr. Vonbaden, you confuse me. You say you don't care about post counts and yet you start a thread about them.

Marvic, usually the person receiving those kind of PMs ignore them, they just don't get it. Trust me, I get them all the time and I ignore them  ;)

But your last post is a perfect example of how things are misunderstood or misinterpreted. I can't figure out if you're truly digging at Def or just busting on him. I'd like to think you're just busting on him because, like MarlboroMike on the Sky forum, he usually says what other people are thinking but are afraid to say.

Post counts are for amateurs  The heavy-hitters are those of us who do the the equivalent of click-n-run (i.e. read post but don't make comments or come here several times a day to kill time)

You mean this thing counts how many posts we make?!  Like an achievement award or something?
