But the only way to fix it is to have a HPT.

Elff and I will be having 2871 turbo's put on at the mod meet in less than 2 weeks...I am guessing that Dave will be doing the tuning by datalogging with HP Tuners when we run on the dyno (which he is bringing).  I am guessing that Dave will get some great information to compare your logs to from that, which might help pinpoint the issue.

Trust me on this.......THIS WILL NOT BE THE FIRST AND LAST ISSUE THAT YOU WILL HAVE ON YOUR CAR.

Once you modify your car, it is more susceptible to issues.......compared to a stock car.  Especially if you don't want to bring your car to the dealership due to warranty issues............having a data logger will be more convenient and ideal for you.

Spend the money now with HPTuner software.......

so if you have another issues down the road...you can just send logs and info to DDM and it will be easier for them to pinpoint what's going on.
Then they can just email you a revised tune....and you can download the tune yourself using hptuner.

it might cost you $400 now....but it will be a helpful tool for you in the long run.......than having your car down for a few weeks, since you're trying to find out what's wrong...and you can't give any info to your MAIN TUNER.

I have the HP Tuners software as well and it has been very helpful, even with the stock turbo...it was worth the investment!!

HPTuners is a tool and if you have a specially tuned car, a tool that needs to be in your toolbox.  You don't need to know how to tune, you just need to know how to run a data log, email it, and install the tune you get back.  If the tuner is expection your log, you can have it back on the road in 10 minutes.

But without a log, ............................................

Again to re-iterate, there is not going to be time to play with my car at the mod meet. I'm going to say that DDM's plate is already full with doing the 2 turbo swaps.

It's up to you.  But I would call and confirm that there won't be time to datalog your car send the tune out, and put the new tune in.  Anyone with HPTUNERS, 08 SKY Redline credits can datalog your car and install the returned tune.  I don't have any credits left or I would offer to do it.

If you need it, I can give up my slot for them to look at your car. I do know someone locally that can install the brakes, but I just haven't gotten a chance to get it done up here, and was going for the convenience of getting it done at the mod meet.

Talk to Dave and let him know that I would clear my timeslot to give you the two hours.  I just don't know if that would be enough time for them to look at your car.

Let me know what Dave says, as I won't bother carting the brake kit down to MD with me if your gonna use my timeslot.

Im pretty sure if dave is bringing his dyno that he will also bring his HPT interface.

He would edit then and there. However I am still pretty sure Elff and spicy would be a bit upset if my car is there for hours when they planned to get their cars done.

Arent you such a sweetheart! But I cant take your slot from you!

I don't know how long the repair would take. Hence why i don't want to eat up time at the meet.

It will either be an easy fix once i get a log, or it will be a monster of a problem. And if its something like a sensor, we may not know for days.

Id prefer to log it here at home and work on it that way.

but i agree with Miller, that if the diagnosis takes too long, it will completely destroy the time plan for all...
Miller, one way, try to find a way to log it in cooperation with DDM asap. IMHO going to the meet is more than solving this problem, it will be a blast for you!
furthermore, you got a chance of solving the problem as well. who knows, maybe DDM guys suffer from insomnia... :lol:
or maybe someone else there can take a look at your car..

Well for example, if there is an issue with a MAP sensor, there is at least a 2 day wait for another one.

Then I would have pretty much went all the way down there just to haul it back broken.

I need some preliminary logs. Then if everything seems in order, and DDM agrees to have me, I will bring the car.

I would MUCH rather just enjoy the drive my perfectly tuned sky out and enjoy helping everyone get their projects done at the meet! :)

I'm not trying to set Dave's schedule for him, but you really need to talk to him and discuse what was said here and see what would be best.  If it is a part, you could more than likely borrow one from a fellow KAPPA for testing.

Threw the same P2195 code on the way home yesterday.

Got home, cleared the code and Tightened the O2 sensor.  Got about half a turn on it compared to where it was. However I did not see any improvement on the running rich condition. It is not throwing a rich code, just the same 13.2 AFR at idle.

I am driving the car again today to try to reproduce the code. If I can, I think I have my problem sensor/leak

If the code pops up on the way home today, the car will be going to get checked out for gasket issues and wiring issues with the O2 sensor. I have already replaced the sensor itself, and saw no improvement in the rich condition.

I am hunting for an interface (near me) that will read O2 voltage/output on the stock wideband. Would most scanners do this? I plan to go to see my private mechanic sometime today to try to diagnose this issue. He has a basic scanner (not sure of the brand) but I hope it will tell me the sensors position. I am thinking maybe it could have a damaged wire causing it to short and read "full lean" at all times. This would explain my rich condition, and why my secondary AFR is still reading rich (when it is only an inch from the stock wideband). It would also explain why the car runs great when I reset the ECU and the condition returns as I drive the car.

Thanks again for everyone taking the time to bear with me on this slow diagnosis and continue reading / suggesting things. :)

You will need a scanner that can do datalogging.   Dashhawk can do this, the Ultra gauge (around 70 bucks) can monitor but not log.  HPtuners will do it, I think some of the top end scanners will as well.

I will say I have been consistently throwing the P2195 O2 sensor stuck lean code for some time. I cleared it just before I drove home.

I was crusing at 65mph for the first few frames, then stood on it and let off toward the end.... hopefully someone can read these better than I can!
