Hello from SouthTexas
« on: May 08, 2011, 08:50:06 PM »
Just purchased my 2006 silver Solstice.  My wife says it's a midlife crisis. I bought a brand new 1977 MGB just before I went to college. The B found a new home when our first child was on the way.  Love the Solstice so far. Everything works and it's a blast. Traded off the Suburban and driving the Solstice daily.  26 MPG and it looks great!!

Welcome to the group. When I bought my '09 GXP, I told my wife it was my mid-life crisis and it was a crisis that had to be dealt with. When she saw the car, she told me that it was a good mid-life crisis that would not cost me my life...(errrr, wife)!! It was almost like buying my very first car..... a mental, emotional, social issue that may go beyond logic. It just made me feel good to get it!!
