Who will be there to make fun of your accent if I don't come? I mean it is a burdensome job, but someone has to do it!

Easy there Miller, I'm bringing backup!

Miller,
Thanks for the heads up.  I already have a ram-air intake that Dave did for me almost a year and a half ago.  It is a one-off:)

Miller

I have all sorts of goodness under the hood to support this.
The intercooler, Fuel Filter and OCC are the last pieces I need for now.

Only issue I have is since I added the one powedercoated part the AEM filter rubs the hood liner.
I wasn't going to worry about that until after the Turbo install because everything will be re-aligned and some parts will not be going back on due to the turbo install kit.

Can't wait!!

Hmmmm...Strange happenings with my ECM yesterday....

I had the same running rich issue. Drove it home, stuttering and stammering all the way to advance.

When I got the code reader and plugged it in, the rich condition 'magically' went away? Fuel trims were leaning the car back out and it ran at a stoich 14.7 at idle.

Any ideas why it would magically go back to 'normal' when plugging into the OBD2 port?

this car may be the end of me!

sorry, bad greek humor...
well, since it a set up that none of us is familiar with, i insist on DDM being the appropriate guys to fix your issues (or diagnose if any car part is gone bad).
you are unlucky that DDM is fully booked during SMMM8, but i believe you should work out a solution in communication with dave

Dave is going to try to squeeze my car in this weekend. We will try to diagnose while he can lead us in the right direction while at SMMM8.

Im not straying from Dave's guidance, just trying to cultivate new ideas.

Remember as the old japanese proverb says: "None of us are as smart as all of us"

With his dyno there and HP Tuners, he should be able to log it and get a better idea of what's going on!

Sometimes the ECU gets confused during a startup, doesn't happen often and a simple turn the key off (got to Autozone, and hooked up the reader), and restarting the car clears the issue.

not saying this is what happen, but it is my best guess.

Yeah never happened before... thanks for the hypothesis. It makes me feel a bit better about it.

Hopefully you will be able to help me figure out why my car is so "wonky" (as Ivy put it) when I get there!
