Probeam is illegal if installed properly.  If not installed completely, it is legal.

Backbone legal. I think.

FP is such a "demanding" class because of the PAX difference from a BSP, too!  But the benefits of the ProBeam are worth it I guess.  All I can say is that because of the ProBeam, I dropped 31 places due to the math difference if I were in BSP.

I had a response written and removed it.

I'm actually not sure and don't feel like consulting the rules again for the stupid fine points.

I'm Probably wrong but here is what I think is the case

Probeam if bolted only to the suspension is legal for stock.
Once you tie it into the crossmember you get bumped to BSP.
Might be worse as stated.  Either way, Total B.S. as this gets you even with the Solstice's stock ZOk crossmember

From what I remember, you can not remove and replace the backbone.
Doing so definitely bumps you out of stock and I believe into FP

I'm very tempted to just say :censor:  the rules and buy the parts I want. Without slicks I'll never be competitive, and that's not an investment I'm willing to make when my work schedule only lets me to to two or three events all season.
