normal pressure is 29 all tires

I would start at 33, heat them up take the pressure again, so you know the hot pressure as well. and then adjust.

front tires at 29 psi or lower?

I would start all of them at 33 and work from there. That is what we do on AutoX

Leaving home in an hour to go to Pireaus port and get into the ferry.
It will be a weekend of sea, race and fun!!!!!!

will let you know how i managed to bring both the GT and the Manta in the last places of the race

well the race is in 16 hours from now, but so far it is a reat weekend

it was such fun!!!!! can't wait to participate in the next event!!!!
i can not thank enough my friend Antonis in Rodos who gave me his GT to race it !!

i didn't do well though... in the turbo category GT came in 12th position out of 17 or 18 participants

Manta came 5th in it's category out of 9 cars.

i will post more comments when i have the results of the race and i return home. what i can say is that IIRC the GT did better time than the 350Z and the S2000

some pics (more to follow in a couple of days and some videos also)

1st both Manta and GT
2nd a little bit of GJ style for the race
3rd me and my friend Antonis who gave me his car

it was great, can't wait to participate in another event!!
with the manta, i still have the stock brakes (good for a 70hp car, but not for a 200hp car) which really sucked in this event.
with the GT i was extremely cautious, i didn't even want to smoke the tires, cause it was my buddy's car and i wanted to be as gentle with it as i could. i didn't want to risk anything or make him regret for trusting his car in me.

one mistake (if i can call it this way) is that these two cars are SO different in feeling and when i got into the GT right after the Manta, the GT felt like it had a broken steering wheel, coz it felt soooooo light compared to the Manta's. so by the time i got used to the feeling of it, the GT race was over... one car at each event for the non experienced racers is the way to go IMHO. my friend's GT had stock suspension and brakes. for sure an upgraded suspension (even only springs) would do a world of difference!

i got back from Rodos with high fever and now i am recovering...

Arabas even the experienced guys don't often run different cars just for that reason. That's also the reason I'm not swapping SCCA illegal parts on/off my car for meets. Car feel is everything for events like this.

You could see the front end of the GT pushing in that last 360 until you got on the gas and brought the rear around.

Looks like you had some fun and that is the main thing.
Don't pay any attention to Kelu, he only knows how to go in a straight line
