Just got it put on. Took about 10min. Only thing I didnt have to unplug my fan as per the instructions, but I did have to bend down the one A/C line on the drivers side. Not the foam covered one, but the bare line. Other than that, some wire management on the passenger side so it wasnt rubbing on the brace and ready to rock. Cant wait for the drive home. Going to take a long-cut through the country and test it out. I dont feel like the car is half assed now with just having the probeam/backbone since there is something up front now. Would there still be any improvement to be had with the ddm brace up front now?

edit: just got home.  :drive:  It tightened the whole front end up. Got rid of alot of the hood shake over bumps and also a strange very slight vibration I had at highway speed. Maybe chassis harmonics and just connecting the chassis at those two points stopped it? Who knows but it isnt there anymore. Straight as an arrow through turns now too. Cant imagine what better tires, sways and/or a better shock/spring combo will make it handle like now.  :tool:

I'm still in H.S.

10 minutes? That's all.  Hmmm, I might have to take a chance with the ol back and see if I can do that.

On the AC line you need to push down on the one with the black rubber insulation on it.
Elff if you have a bad back I would get someone to help you with the 2 bolts on the frame sides.
The top bolts are OK for you, but the other ones will definitely take a little longer and it will probably hurt your back.
The reason is because of the way you have to bend and the time it takes to torque them down.

15 minutes!  With me and my 14 year old Grandson,  he doing the work, and me doing the heavy standing around.  Didn't need to take anything loose, it just dropped into place.  The lower bolt on the drivers side was a PITA with wiring harness in the way, that one bolt consumed half the time.  Test drive in a bit.... Thank yo LV!

Let me add some additional install tips... don't do what i did!

After a quick test drive the biggest difference comes at highway speeds, the front end feels much better during sharp turns. Got some autocross over the weekend, we'll see how it feels then.

it's actually quite easy to ly on the flore and use a ratchet wrench to tighten the bottom bolt.  I could easily reach the bolt when lying down on the floor next to the tire and reaching into the area, you won't be able to see it but you can find it with your hand.

I suppose you could also put it up on ramps in the front and be able to access it better

Shabby:
Although it was labeled driver side it looks from the picture you are in the passenger side.
I guess you were thinking in European terms, and you are right DO NOT install it that way.

Can you unplug a single connector
Can you find a 13mm socket
Can you use the previously mentioned socket to remove then re-install 4 bolts
and lastly
Can you carefully slide a bar through a somewhat tight but easily negotiated space

Then my friends, you have the skills to install the LV Chassis Brace all by yourself.

This made a noticeable difference in how the front turns in.  Almost like a bigger sway bar but without introducing understeer.
Does that make sense.
Anyway
This is a must have mod that can not be beat for the price.

OK then, please put me down as #4 for a Silver one.

I've been on the fence about this as I already have the DDM tower brace and thinking I'll be hitting the law of diminishing returns.  But what the hey, if I don't notice any difference with the two, I can always sell it on, right?

Thanks LV!

Good point.
I don't have the DDM one yet so I noticed a very positive difference.
