:idk:

OK, I see what you're saying now.  So if the BOV stays open during idle, you're introducing air into the system that the MAF never sees.  The MAF doesn't know what is going on and the RPM's tank.

Which after reading the explanation for the anti-stall valve, makes sense.

But...how is Elff getting away with it?  Is it a tune issue?  Or Elff, do you have the anti-stall valve installed?

Mine isn't working at all at the moment.
BOV is sitting on my desk at work waiting for the new one to arrive tomorrow.

But,
with mine, the BOV was kind of jammed, so maybe the fact that mine was sticking was eliminating this issue and acting like the anti Stall.

When I get the new one, I will be able to test and see if I have the same issue.

I am going to order the anti-stall kit and give it a shot.  Can you believe it makes the BOV even louder??

After talking with Steve, I remembered [It's been a while since I drove the sky] that I am having something similar happen.
I think mine was masked by the BOV sticking.  I am pretty sure I am going to run into the same issue once I get the replacement BOV.
Will post up tomorrow when I get mine re-installed tomorrow.

I forgot you had said that miller...I am hoping it will work...I didnt throw a code no matter where I have my preload tension set, so I think the fact that you have the BOV on the passenger side away from the turbo might make it different.

Elff is going to get one as well, so maybe he can take yours.  I really hope it solves the issue.  Synapse said it should.

I'd return the turbo if I were you.

BTW,  hey DDM, if you have any of those fancy turbo kits, I'd take a used one for cheap... Just sayin'

Thanks for the offer Miller.  I never saw your post and being the impatient little one I am. [Since I've been waiting for my BOV] I ordered one as well.
 :D

I can't wait to take the Sky for a drive again.  Weather is perfect right now.

Ok

I do have what Steve is experiencing, but I can mitigate it more due to the manual transmission and my style of shifting.
The only time it really kicks in is when I come to a stop sign.   RPMs drop a couple hundred.

Other than that, I have the new BOV installed and tuned.  It's working well.
will post back when I receive the anti stall kit.

F-Ing Sky is a demon.  Having parked it for half a week and driven a jeep and a truck, I forgot just how insanely fast this thing is now.
I am sooooooo Happy I did this upgrade!!!!
